The DW TF Newsletter (what a mouthful!) is on its 8th issue now. Our baby is two months old! ♥ We've pretty much settled into the groove. So it's about time we did something special with it! A FRIENDING MEME. :D
So to start you off, here are some things you can share about yourself.

A few of your favorite characters: SHOCKWAVE. In all his forms. I also adore TFP's Soundwave, IDW Bob, G1 Prowl, and Bay Scorponok. I have a thing for the little critters, what can I say?
How you usually interact with fandom: I write sometimes, but more often I read and offer comments and kudos. I help run the LJ TFP comm and the DW TF Newsletter.

How you usually interact with fandom (ex. write fic, offer encouragement, draw, read, etc.) Write fic, read fic, flail over art, RP, avoid Tumblr on the day a new comic drops, etc.

How you usually interact with fandom: Mostly I draw fanart. I want to start writing again but I can't promise anything. Discussion and meta, but for that I usually stick to the TFG threads on /co/.
Am I supposed to say more about myself? I'm studying geology, and when I can tear myself away from the internet I spend my time hanging out at roadcuts and dry creek beds.

Favorite characters: I like most of the characters actually! But especially Ambulon & Trepan & Fort Max & Ore & Rodimus & Whirl & Ultra Magnus (IDW), Ratchet & Bulkhead (TFP), Chase (RB), the Dinobots (FoC, TFA), Omega Supreme (TFA), also (ALL) Metroplexes!
Fandom? I write fics over there, and I draw *(Robot gore warning :() over there. All of this is crossposted to my journal, but some/most is friendlocked. I also make plush figures, read fic, look at all the gorgeous art, and participate in mass speculation and passive canon analysis. Also: enthusiasm parties anytime new canon / comics come out.
I'm kind of new to the fandom so new friends would be great! (But new friends are ALWAYS great, so.) Nice to meet you!

A few of your favorite characters: Metroplex, Trypticon, the Aerialbots, Soundwave, Blaster, Wheeljack (Prime), the Predacons, the Terrorcons - I have a biiiiit of a thing for the gestalts, Cosmos, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Vector Prime, The Fallen (DW version), Thundercracker, Arcee, Maggie.
How you usually interact with fandom (ex. write fic, offer encouragement, draw, read, etc.): I read and write fic, and chatter about what's going on in the latest incarnations of the universes. I'm getting back into the comics (MTMTE, LSoTW etc) recently, having taken a break for a while. I'm one of those people that only tentatively acknowledges the existence of the Bay movies after the first one. Urrrm. :/9
Stuff that goes on in my journal: I rec books, since I read a lot. I'm also into gaming, both PC and tabletop, and I post fic for my fandoms. (Other fandoms include Warhammer 40K, Final Fantasy X and VII, and Legacy of Kain.) I'll chat about stuff going on in my life that amuses me.
I talk about my cat. This is unavoidable.
Also, I link to things I find interesting. I tend to post anything from once a week to every couple of days. I do comment a fair bit and I'm basically hoping to find some more TF and fandom people that are heavily involved in DW rather than LJ.

How you usually interact with fandom (ex. write fic, offer encouragement, draw, read, etc.): I mainly write fic and blather excitedly about awesome things, whether they be fics, canon, ideas, meta, all kinds of things. I'm an editor for the LJ and DW newsletters, and I mod a few communities. I also make felt plushies, and other textile fanworks, and occasionally try to draw. I can usually be found on the War Dawn MUSH, where I play Shockwave, Vortex and Sunspot.

How you usually interact with fandom (ex. write fic, offer encouragement, draw, read, etc.): I write fics, usually on FFNet and AO3, sometimes on Lj anonkinkmeme. I try to give feedback in a way of reviews meaning that I read a lot of fanfics (and else too). I found Dreamwidth only recently.

A few of your favorite characters: Just a few? :p Wheeljack (G1/Prime), Skyfire/Jetfire (G1), Grimlock, Knock Out (Prime), Breakdown, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe (G1), Bluestreak, Red Alert (G1), pretty much any Seeker (yes, even the coneheads)...there are more but I'll stop there.
How you usually interact with fandom: I write and doodle. I'd like to cosplay but as of yet my attempts have only been of cardboard. Haven't had the chance to do a more serious costume. I also have the TF/Mech Exchange, a fic/art exchange, if enough people are interested to have another round some time...

How you usually interact with fandom: Does roleplaying count? Because I do that a lot. :X I use to write a lot in the fandom but I really haven't in a long time so....roleplaying and reblogging cool stuff on tumblr that others do is about it. BD;;
And to add a bit more about myself, I'm a geology/geography major who works on cars for a living. :B :B I'm also a very big Marvel Comics fan and various other little fandoms that I get mixed up in here and there. So..YEAH. HI GUYS.

I like different fandoms for different things: G1 for its fanficability, Animated for its hilarity, and TFP for its badassery. My fave characters are Jazz and Soundwave, the cassetticons, Prowl, the Aerialbots, and the Stunticons.
I am primarily known in the fandom for writing exactly 1 fanfic, monstrously long though it may be, a Jazzwave fling called These Games We Play. Because of this, my fandom knowledge is extremely narrow and sheltered, and I don't have much knowledge of other characters and pairings - though I'd like to learn. I'm here because some of my LJ friends and/or regular readers left to make journals here and I didn't want to lose touch, but I'm extremely absentminded about remembering to come over here and check updates. Like learning how to use Twitter, I have a New Years Resolution to address that.

I am older, so most of what I have going on in my life is about my children and my family, trying to balance them with fandom stuff and my own sanity. But I'm friendly, honest!

I've seen TFP but I'm WAY behind. Don't care for Bayverse myself but I support friends who do. =3
A few of your favorite characters: I'm on a serious Seeker kick right now (more specifically Command Trine kick), have been for MONTHS o.o Thundercracker is my current baby, with Skywarp and Starscream naturally following. Primarily, though, I'm an Autogirl. I pretty much love ALL of the G1 early cast, especially Bumblebee and Wheeljack.
How you usually interact with fandom: Encourage others. Write. RP. I'm G1 Wheeljack in "The Wake" and G1 Thundercracker in Re/Alignment. I'm on both FFnet and AO3 as "DragonDancer5150". Oh, and I also do sculptures in polymer clay - TF-fandom-wise, I have done a teddy bear dressed up as Bumblebee (his name is "Bumblebear") and I have plans for a teddy-Seeker Trine. =3
I love brotherly and brothers-in-arms type stories. I don't do shipping of any kind (I'm an ace, myself, so that might have something to do with it), though, again, I support friends who /are/ into it. My stories center on more familial interactions usually. LOL probably boring to most people, I know, but hey. =3 Or adventure/conflict.
My journal is a mix of fandom stuff, occasional song lyrics, rants or praise about work (as much as it might frustrate me, I'm VERY thankful to be working right now, after a two-year stint with unemployment and some failed schooling and...yeah, long story). I'm Pagan, so sometimes I post about that, and people are always free to ignore it, or any other posts I make. =3 What else . . . I'm 38, female, single, childfree . . . I can be kind of shy - I worry about bothering or upsetting people, so if I don't comment, that's why. Overall I'm a positive person, and friends are not only love but often an invaluable lifeline. <3

A few of your favorite characters: oh god.. Ok, I LOVE Shockwave! He is probably my favorite for pretty much every verse. But then I have loved him since G1 was new *kaff IamnotoldIswear*. Others I love are Soundwave (and his cassettes), Onslaught, Blackout, Barricade, Grindor, And I just love Decepticons (really you should see what I did to my truck). As for the other side of the fence. I may be a con at heart but Damn do I love me some Optimus Prime. I also have a weakness for TFP Ratchet and just about any other Ratchet, but TFP has all my feels ALL OF THEM! um. I also like Bayverse and Prime Bumblebee, Ironhide, Wheeljack and Perceptor (SCIENCE FOR THE WIN!). I better stop here before the list gets too long.
How you usually interact with fandom (ex. write fic, offer encouragement, draw, read, etc.): I read everything I can get my hands on that pertains to my interests. I try to write as much as possible, but I know I can do better. I love making icons, and I try to be supportive.

How you usually interact with fandom: Reading fan fiction, writing fan fiction (very slowly), squealing over fan art, making some lousy fan art of my own.... Oh, and I RP some too... I do tend to be kind of a chicken about commenting on stuff though... >.>
Stuff you'll find on my journal: Um... You'll likely find my fan fiction, art, and miscellaneous stuff. It won't always be Transformers related stuff, but most of it is... and I'm slower than heck with updates... but that's what there.

How you usually interact with fandom: I write increasing amounts of fic, occasionally anonfill kinkmeme requests, read way too much fanfiction, cry over comics, and casually lurk on TFG, tumblr, etc. Also I've RP'd Drift, Starscream, Vortex, Rung, and Vos. I really love character analysis/meta and I will bake you cookies if you indulge me.
I am so new to Dreamwidth (and fandom in general) that it hurts. Friends would make me roll over in joy ;3;
